AI Paragraph Rewriter: a short guide
The AI Paragraph Rewriter takes a paragraph you already have and gives it back in new wording, with the same point but a different shape. It can tighten a wordy draft, make stiff text friendlier, turn a casual note into something you can send to a client, or simplify jargon for a general reader. You tell it what to change in plain words, and the Tone, Creativity, Audience and Language menus do the rest. It is a rewriting aid, not a fact-checker or a plagiarism shield: the ideas you put in are the ideas you get out.
Examples
- Make it professional. In: "hey, we cant make the meeting thurs, can we push to next week sometime" Out: "Unfortunately, we are unable to attend Thursday's meeting. Could we reschedule for a time next week?"
- Make it simpler. In: "The initiative aims to leverage cross-functional synergies to optimise stakeholder outcomes." Out: "The project brings different teams together so that everyone involved gets better results."
- Make it shorter. In: "Due to the fact that the train was delayed, we arrived at the venue at a later time than we had planned." Out: "Because the train was late, we arrived later than planned."
- Make it casual for a newsletter. In: "The office will be closed on Monday for the public holiday." Out: "Heads up: the office is closed Monday for the holiday. See you Tuesday!"
Limits
- Free requests are capped at 200 characters, so a full paragraph needs a paid plan or has to go in one or two sentences at a time.
- Each run is a fresh rewrite, not a reply to the last one. To change a result, edit your instruction or the menus and generate again.
- The AI can lose a detail while it rewords: a date, a "not", a figure or a hedge such as "may". Check those against the original every time.
- It does not know your sources, so it cannot add citations or confirm facts. A rewritten claim is only as sound as the one you pasted in.
- Technical, legal or medical text can lose precision when it is simplified. Have someone qualified review it before relying on it.
