Describe the scene: the main object, the colours, the light source and the composition, for example 'ringed gas giant lit from the left, violet and teal nebula behind, small moon in the foreground'. Generate, then check the star field and the shadow terminator. Adjust the palette or composition wording and generate again until the depth and colour read the way you want.
Tips for the best results
Name one dominant light direction so planets get a convincing terminator shadow. Layer the scene, with something near, something mid and a background field, to create depth. Two or three colours make a richer nebula than a rainbow. For wallpaper use, say the aspect ratio and leave a quieter area for icons.
