Combining two unexpected ideas creates the most memorable designs, like a teapot dragon or a cactus fox. Mention a colour scheme to link creatures of the same element. For evolution lines, keep the core animal and colours the same and ask for a bigger, stronger or older version. White backgrounds make designs easy to cut out for sprites and cards.
